Little Writers: Valentine Candy

Today's Writer activity is a little different. We have officially launched our Little Writers series which will feature writing and storytelling activities for children. This will encourage all future writers to access their imaginations, hone their skills, and learn. Each week we'll feature a variety of exercises, prompts, and activities for children that will be fun and educational. 

This week we are taking part in our Writer's Shelf countdown to Valentine's Day with a themed activity that will be fun. It's easy and will encourage your kids to be entirely creative.

The Activity:

Everyone loves Valentine's candy. And there's such a wide variety to choose from. One of our favorites here at Writer's Shelf is Reese's. For this first activity, we wanted to keep it simple and fun. All you do is make up your own candy for Valentine's Day. You can even draw a picture. Then when you're done share it with your family.
