Writer Wednesdays: Challenge is to Create an Alien Planet

 

Welcome!

Today is Writer Wednesday and we have an exciting new challenge for you! We challenge you to create an alien planet. 

As you create your planet we challenge you to think about these topics:

1.) Who are the aliens? Are these aliens like Kryptonians and look like people? Or are they humanoid creatures? Robots? 

2.) Relationships - what's dating like on your alien planet? Do people get married? Are there family units on this planet? What do they look like? 

3.) While thinking about who your aliens are, be sure to think about what they eat? Do they need water to survive? 

5.) What is the wildlife like on the alien planet? What animals are on the planet? Are they like what we see on earth with dogs and dolphins? Or are they strange creatures like you'd see on Star Wars or Star Trek? 

6.) What is the environment like? Is the habitat like a rain forest or desert? Is it like being on Pluto or is the planet entirely made of diamonds? 

7.) Think about the economy of your planet? Are they trading in diamonds? Do they trade in animals or do they make deals? Think about the homes? Do they live in ice palaces or caves? 

8.) Is there a school system? If so how would you define this system? Do they go to school in a building or is it more of a learn as you go with your family learning style? 

9.) Who rules the planet? Do you have countries or continents? Do you have leaders or a government? 

10.) Religion. What do your aliens believe?
