Pantser on Fire: Living History

 

All month we are exploring the topic of creation stories. For our pantser prompts today we are exploring the concept of history through the lens of world-building. There's only one rule for these prompts. Don't think or plot, just read the prompts and write until you're done.

1.) Pick a moment in history and create a skit. Format as a play and if you're feeling daring, perform it. This can be any moment in history from the Salem Witch Trials to just a decade ago. 

2.) Pick a moment from the local history in your own town or state. Write a skit. If you're feeling daring, perform it. 

3.) Write a short story that brings a story from the local history in your own town or state to life. No word count is required.

4.) Write a short story inspired by a myth. This can be from Greek Mythology, Chinese Mythology, or any mythology that inspires you. No word count required.
