Pantser on Fire: Dystopian Prompts

 

The last few weeks have been all about Utopian societies so today I'm taking inspiration from Dystopian fiction. Everyone is familiar with this genre of fiction thanks to The Hunger Games, Divergent, and The Giver. For today's Pantser prompts, I took inspiration from these and other Dystopian fiction. 

Check these prompts out below:

1.) The world has flooded which has pushed humanity to adapt to living on boats, cruises, and underwater cities. 

2.) Imagine a world where death is only a theory. When people die, they resurrect to live their next life. 

3.) Death is only the beginning. People have the chance to volunteer for a science experiment after their death. Your main character died only to wake up in a mysterious lab with their only memory being of their death the day before. 

4.) The world has been set ablaze by an alien race from outer space bringing the entire world together for a great war. Most of the human population has disappeared with those that remain living in fear of when the aliens will return. That day has come.
