Pantser on Fire: Going to Space

This week, Pantser on Fire is inspired by the monthly prompt of utopia vs. dystopia. For today's prompts, I've taken inspiration from science fiction and decided to go with the theme of space. For science fiction lovers, these prompts will help you explore your favorite genre deeper. For those that aren't, this will allow you to think outside of the box.

1.) A major discovery is found buried deep at the North Pole which leads to a shocking artifact that will allow mankind to take to the stars.

2.) Aliens have come to earth and offered a select few humans an option to go back to their planet. What do you do?

3.) Set your story far into the future. Human kind now has the ability to create space ships. Would you allow the ships to mass produced so everyone has the option of space exploration? Or would you allow only a select few individuals to have access?

4.) Inspired by an online prompt, your main character has an obsession with a space explorer virtual reality game and spends hours playing it. One day your character receives their first injury or loss in the game, and soon discover that events in the game are replicating in real life.

Happy writing!
