Little Writers: Take A Trip Through Time

 

Time travel is a popular concept for stories with Back to the Future as one of the most prominent examples of the idea. Children's books even get in on the fun with amazing works that allow children to explore the idea of traveling to different time periods and other worlds. A Wrinkle in Time is one of the most popular takes on the concept of time and takes a mathematical approach that sets this book apart from others in its genre. Other books on time travel for your children to check out is Time Traveling with a Hamster, The Magic Tree House series, and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.

For today's exercise, discuss with your children on the concept of time travel and ask them where they would go if they could go anywhere in time. Let them tell you the story for themselves about the adventures they would have. Let them write it down, write it down with them, or draw a picture.
